Winston Churchill once said, “All men make mistakes, but only
wise men learn from their mistakes.” Despite our best efforts, human beings are, and will always be, imperfect. And so too are the systems that human beings design and maintain, from governments to corporations to schools to hospitals. Of course, the same is true of IT security systems, which employ powerful technology, but in the end are only as strong as the people that use them.
