Job Profile
I have founded 2 Companies viz. SysLogic IT Solutions pvt ltd and Manthan Studio. Being the ‘founder and CEO’ brings along a huge set of roles and responsibilities for me. I am involved in a lot of activities in the Company with the team apart from playing my role as a CEO. It includes being an active participant in the concept and content finalization, marketing and sales, PR activities, Employee relation and all. Apart from all this, I handle the key accounts too.
Leadership qualities
Yes it’s not easy if you are not self motivated. Whatever you choose to do, it surely will go through many ups and downs. You can’t let any circumstance upset you or deviate you from your path. No one, except you, can motivate you at bad times and no one, except you, can keep grounded at the super good times. Also, the leader has to have a clear vision about the shape in which he wishes to see his company into. Ambiguity is quite lethal for any company at any stage/ especially for the start ups.
Ensuring Growth
I read a lot. I notice a lot. I grasp a lot. I keep updating myself about the latest trends in the industry and society.
Moreover, I am very particular about hiring or including someone in my core team. I choose only those who are Smart, self motivated and attentive. Inputs and updates from my core team helps me a good deal to be efficient and adaptive to the ever changing technology and trends.
My advice
As I said earlier, you have got to be self motivated. You need to be ready with answers all the time because everyone will look up to you for directions during the good as well as the bad times. And, as they say, ‘do what you love’ is an infallible truth. Choose your career/field wisely. It is the first step to success. And then off course, your attitude determines the magnitude of your success.
Managing personal and professional life
I am a keen observer and a quick learner. Being vigilant all the time about the opportunities and threats helps. Apart from that, having a good team to support me is an added benefit.
Influenced by
I would say, I have a habit of analyzing every person I come across either personally or through news/magazines. I understand that nobody is perfect and has one or the other shortcoming. I try to grasp good things from every one and try not to do something I didn’t like. Then, my father has knowingly or unknowingly given me many management pointers. He was an efficient manager and I have observed his style of work keenly.
Handling Grievances
The processes set by us help me to track down the cause of any discrepancy or problem even at the minutest level. I make sure no one is mistreated or nobody’s effort goes unnoticed. If there is a complain, I have full knowledge about the situation. It helps me take appropriate actions. I like to discuss the grievances related to work culture, discipline and attitude personally. I leave the rest to my able core team.
Important career decisions
The first one would be the decision of starting a Company and not willing to do a 9 to 5 job. I decided to be a product based company and found my passion in it. Now we are a proud owner of many in-house products ranging from embedded systems to mobile games and apps that are doing well World wide. But yes, there’s a lot to be achieved yet.
Family background
My Father is a retired Veterinary Doctor and retired as a Joint Director. My Mother is a house wife.  I am the eldest son among the three kids.  My Younger Brother is also the co-founder of one of the Companies. My younger sister is an Architect and is married to a Telecom Engineer. I am happily married to a person who compliments me personally and professionally. I reluctantly chose her to be a part of my team and now she handles the HRD of the company.
